Mouse Actions


This tool is self-explanatory following a minimalism principle. The following table lists mouse action items of the tool.

Area

Action [Menu] 

Description

Node (image or shape)

Drag and Drop Node

Hold the mouse  left-click to drag an image from the left element palette and release on the right panel

Connect Nodes

Left click a start node then click an end node, a connection will appear.

Edit Node Text

Left click the text (under the image node or at the top of the rectangular shape)

Delete Node [Menu]

Click or select a node to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Delete Image¡±

Send to Back [Menu]

Click or select a node to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Send to Back¡±

Bring to Front [Menu]

Click or select a node to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Bring to Front¡±

Line (node connection)

Edit Line Text [Menu]

Right click a line to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Edit Line Text¡± to enter or change the line text

Delete Line [Menu]

Right click a line to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Delete Line¡±

Toggle Arrow End [Menu]

Right click a line to show its context menu, and click the ¡°Toggle Arrow End¡± to switch between the default straight line and arrow line.

Diagram

Save as Image

Right click the diagram to show the context menu, and click the ¡°Save as Image¡±

Export XML

Right click the diagram to show the context menu, and click the ¡°Export XML¡± to save the diagram for later use.

Import XML

Right click the diagram to show the context menu, and click the ¡°Import XML¡± to import the diagram you saved earlier.

Menu Bar

Standard Mode

Change the tool to standard A-ESA mode that includes a set of basic elements plus some commonly-used assistive elements.

Lean Mode

Change the tool to lean A-ESA mode that includes a minimal set of elements for agile, quick or small solutions.

Show a brief intro of A-ESA and the basic tool actions
